Almost sundown

The sunshine continued with a bit more heat too, apparently 15°. The most exciting thing was the arrival of our postal ballot papers. The paraphernalia included a very lengthy list of the registered parties and independent candidates – 22 in total. 
We both voted and posted our own papers separately, and without discussion. Our political preferences are not the same and never have been, which makes for good conversation, except when it comes to voting.
What with the voting, a walk to the post box without a camera, cleaning the balcony windows and an unsettling episode of The Archers meant I  had no blip at 7.30 There was the promise of a reasonable sunset, however the sky out of the east facing windows looked quite dramatic.
