Fresh New Life

A quiet morning pottering about the house doing odd jobs.
In the afternoon we went to the woods.  The sunlight on the trees had created lovely patterns on the trunks and on the ground.  Each day there is evidence of new, emerging life.  The curled up fronds of ferns are getting taller and starting to unfurl.  The tiny orange ladybirds are growing.  There are more primroses, and the daffodils are still flowering. The pond has very little water in it, and the trees are starting to get their summer foliage.
I could hear Blue Tits, and Finches, a Woodpecker, and a couple of Buzzards high above the trees.  One young deer was wandering around as if lost.  Thankfully Geordie didn`t spot it.
When we got home I used the "Picture This" app. on my phone to identify and document all, or most, of the plants in the garden.

I hope everyone has had a lovely day.
