Blossom Season

It’s been another busy day at work, I’m struggling to find appointments for all the new patients and it’s hard dealing with young people who tell you they need to be seen urgently because they’re scared of dying. I have to ask if they feel at risk or have suicidal intent, and the young girl today replied ‘not yet, but I’m very, very scared’. Nik is working non stop and when I told him about this girl, he said tell her to come at 8pm tonight and he’d see her as an emergency. I tried calling her back a few times but it kept going to voicemail, I left messages but she hadn’t called back by the time I left.

I was an hour late finishing, but it’s not a job you can just walk away from, and at the moment I feel so tired, it’s mentally draining and by the time I get home, cook the dinner and sit down, I just want to sleep!

I managed my usual lunchtime walk in the park though and the blossom is really coming out now. I blipped these trees last week, but they’re looking even more beautiful now.

No more news from the solicitors so I’ve emailed Michelle who I used to work for as she’s now the Conveyancing Services Manager - let’s see if she can do anything for us as it was her who kickstarted it at the beginning when I had to complain!
