A Snapshot of Time

Another fantastic weather day. Up at 5:00 to get the grands off to school and then needed to run home to gather my erratic BP data. While there, I walked around the property and took a few pictures of my spring flowers. As you can see from the top left photo, we should have a bumper crop of blueberries. The bleeding heart plants are really looking good. The entire back edge of the property and our gazebo are lined with dogwood trees. Their blossoms and my lilacs are just opening. Really miss not being there to enjoy all this beauty every day. I had my first appointment with a Cardologist this morning. She says I’m very healthy for an old codger. She ordered an echocardiogram, stress test, thyroid test and decided we’d keep my meds the same. So tomorrow, I’ll head to the next county for the first test since the local machine is broken. The others will wait till we return from WV. Hubby did a great job removing and replanting the sod from in front of the she shed to bare spots by our garden. Then he tilled and added rich soil and peat to the area. Last he checked, he has over 20,000 steps today. We had a tasty pork roast after I brought Sky home from play practice. She has dance from 8:00 to 9:00 pm. Then it will be time for bed once again. We have a finite number of days on this Earth. Good health can disappear in an instant. Make the most of every moment and stop to smell the flowers. Thank for visiting.
