Granddad to the Rescue (again)

Cloudy and chilly today. We had another chair catastrophe so Granddad stopped by to reinforce all four again. If this fix does not work, Kristen’s birthday (on Sunday) gift will surely be a practical one. After that little job, Hubby went to purchase garden border bricks to go around my she shed flower beds. He will till and supplement the soil so I can have a nice garden. The younger grands went back to school so my day started at 5:30 am (yawn). My taxi service was quite busy today. Sky had play practice at 1:00 pm, Brooklyn needed to be picked up from school and taken home at 1:30 pm, Sky’s practice was over at 5:30 and she has dance from 6:00-7:30 pm. My other main task was putting together our next WV meal spreadsheet and accompanying grocery list. If all goes well, we’ll be heading there when my oldest daughter returns from her mini vaca on Sunday. My youngest grand has offered to help with the make ahead food while I am at her house. When my hubby bought all those tools after we moved into our new home 20 years ago, I couldn’t imagine why. I think he has used every saw, drill, clamp, hammer, etc to help the three kids over the years from building playgrounds, book shelves to major home repairs. Whoever says you have to share blood to be the best Dad is sorely mistaken. Thanks for dropping by, leaving stars, hearts and kind remarks.
