Waxy

The blooms on the hyacinths have an almost waxy appearance and they have survived yet another below zero night.

At least today was a notch warmer - or I should say less cold - in part because for a lot of the time the wind had dropped. Various emails on church matters then time in the garden weeding a flower bed.

News of earlier than anticipated easing of within-Scotland-travel-restrictions. Will probably give it a few days before venturing beyond Edinburgh to let the initial rush ease!
