Nesting heron

At the side of the road, I managed to get a shot of one of the herons on its next. It isn’t easy as they are so high up and surrounded by tree branches. It will soon be very difficult when the leaves open up. The extra is a Wood Duck.
A lovely morning wandering around Les Grangettes then out to a friend’s house for dinner....our first time in someone’s house since December.
