Adonis

A rare flower found near Charrat that only blooms this time of year. It was such a pleasure to see so many of them blooming as we walked up to the Mayen de Moret. It is the first time that we have seen them and we weren’t disappointed. The whole area is very dry and had a Mediterranean feel about it.

Caught up with family this morning before setting off in the campervan for a couple of nights. Tonight we are camped near Grimentz (ready for skiing tomorrow) in St Jean en Haut. A tiny village with some very old wooden houses and beautiful views.
