Why you may ask am I taking photos of mailboxes? Well this a rare one. If you look carefully at the Insignia at the bottom (apologies that it’s not clearer), it says EviiiR. It is one of the remaining 150 or so Edward the 8th post boxes. This one is in Beckenham and was just a short detour for me and my friend J to take before heading to Beckenham Place park. 
We were very lucky with the weather and were able to sit in the sun to enjoy our lunch. The Mansion House needs some work but still functions as one of two cafes and the woodlands were full of bluebells. A really enjoyable day, even though J reminded me we met over 30 years ago....not sure how that’s possible really!!
