Claiming the ground

After doing my volunteering stint I sat in the sun for 10 mins for a snack and tried to get some pics of the pigeons. I mananged 3 and the battery died but fortunately this one came out okay.
On my way home something fell out of my pocket and I didn't realise until I was back so Mr Rat and I took the car to look - though some bits had to be walked as they aren't roads. I found it not too far from home but had to go quite a bit further to meet Mr Rat and the car!
Still cold, bright weather and I had to water plants in pots, my new acer leaves seem to have caught the frost a bit.
Evening run in the woods with the group, some of it quite speedy as I joined the longer route when we split and only the faster people were in it
