Happy Easter

So good to have an uncancellable day to celebrate Easter.
We had our on-line service with plenty of songs to join in with a reflections form a friend of the church and Mr Rat, it was a great time.
After lunch we went for a walk to the ponds and the woods and the leaves have really started coming out in the last few warm days. There are more in extras, plus a monster we met.
We went along a path I was on 3 days ago and I nearly didn't recognise it. The path was heavily rutted, several trees had been cut down and the thinner branches left covering the path, requiring short detours. It was a bit of a shock and I hope it's just thinning out (and maybe trying to deter the trail bikers).
Sat in the garden again for a while but then we had a bit of rain and, anyway, it was about time to get on with the second part of the roast beef dinner.
