We’re back

Journey was fairly quiet and weather really good. Cottage fine, no problems and no mice.
We unpacked, got the heating on, made up the bed and went out for a walk. It felt fantastic to be able to walk out of the front door and straight up a hill.
It was wonderful seeing the lambs and hearing lapwings and curlew.
We had forgot that we were due back on Boxing Day and therefore Christmas decorations were still up, fortunately we only have artificial tree here.
By the time I started cooking the tree was down and we were looking more like April.
Lots of cleaning and gardening to be done but it will wait until tomorrow.
