Birthday treat

Hubby took me out for coffee and croissant this morning and we sat on a bench in the park. It was very cold and very busy, but everyone was heading for the children’s play area except us.
Did the ironing and packed ready for journey tomorrow.
Daughter and her dog came round for food and red wine and I did a dessert that I could eat, I normally don’t have one but as it was my birthday I thought I would make one I would eat, baked blueberries and mascarpone.
Brother phoned for a chat and we realised we are going to be in the same area for a couple of days towards the end of our stay so we are going to meet up, which will be great.
And it snowed.
