The Seaside Really Rocks!, Rye Harbour

We've finally been released from the lockdown, so me and my brother decided to go for a visit to one of our favourite places - the austere but always beautiful Rye Harbour. I worked out the last time we visited was the last time we saw the sea, a very long 183 days ago. It was so brilliant to see it again.
 On the way down there the weather changed at least five times and as we drew into Rye it wasn't looking good at all, but by the time we got to the harbour itself the light had changed yet again. It's one of my all time favourite destinations to take a photograph at and it didn't disappoint (see first extra as well).
Of course, being the first day of pubs re-opening we had to have a pint (see second extra). Appropriately, it was enjoyed while looking at a view of the lifeboat station! All in all a fantastic day and such a counter blast to Friday's work news. I feel very suitably uplifted.
