Sign of the Takahe
The Sign of the Takahe was built in the Cashmere Hills overlooking Christchurch, in the style of an English Manor House. Construction was carried out between 1918 and 1948, originally planned as a rest house for travellers. Now it is a heritage-listed building functioning as a cafe.
