Escape

We left home at about lunchtime after making sure that the house was tidy enough for any passing burglars (you never know, Kim and Aggy or even Anthea T might have a side line in breaking and entering).

The day was a beaut and the journey up the A9 was busy but uneventful. Having a car full and two bikes on the roof kinda slows you down a touch to a more sedate pace anyway. And it didn't really take any longer.

Installed in our log cabin by the Spey with a view of the mountains and its time to relax. I fetched some small items of shopping fom Aviemore and then Colyumbridge on my bike (I always took the car before - so much quicker on two wheels) and purchased a number of walking and cycling guides as we have been relying on others local knowledge and books every other time.

Dinner. Beer. Blip. Shower. Bed. Walk and rides tomorrow.
