Petalville
The blooms come and go so quickly. First, it's just a hint of color that soon puffs out into pink popcorn for a few days, then the petals fall to the ground like snow.
Extras:
Earlier we made a quick run to Little Baja on E. Burnside to buy four new pots for the back porch steps.
It was quick because we wanted to get back in time to livestream the memorial service for a friend whose husband plays trombone with Eric. It was a long, sweet, and very touching service in her church where they both were part of a bell choir. Lots of guitars and singing. At least three Beatles tunes; isn't it cool how Beatles tunes show up at weddings and funerals? We can't claim it as American music, but it certainly is ours.
