White Oak

The Benson-Cheney house overlooks the Willamette River just a few blocks from our place and has a number of very large oak and walnut trees, like this White Oak. I've posted views of the river and the train bridge from very near here, and we often walk here to see the river. That's what we did today; then, as we left to walk home, we looked at the house and spotted a huge oak that must have come down during the ice storm in February. See Extra.
