Saturday sunshine

Sitting in the William yard with a takeaway latte and a pain au chocolate, listening to the 41 gun salute from Devonport for the duke of Edinburgh. He was an extraordinary individual and will be hugely missed. Always focussed on the future and improvement.

Extras at Mount edgecumbe, long view across to plymouth and beyond, a picture pregnant with promise of wisteria, blush of new growth, flowers and ladybird in the grass, and a beautifully spread tree. Not in that order!
