Karin and her work

Karin has been really busy with her knitting. When we met up today she spread it all on the table for Jan to see. She does beautiful work in quite tough wool so her stuff is both warm and long-lasting.
The slightly surreal setting for all this was the Kia showrooms, hence all the cars outside. Our car was in for a service and this is a sort of waiting area for customers, with a coffee (and hot chocolate) machine and a big table!
Once we were done with this we took a walk along the still frozen river, and then into town for a pizza together.  We seem to be doing a lot of catching up with friends at the moment. I think it's because the weather is warming slightly and we are coming out of hibernation.
Earlier in the day we had spotted one of the roe deer bucks sitting in the sun just 50 meters from our house - see extra.
Today was the first day we 65-75 year-olds could book a time to get vaccinated. That's the good news. The bad news is that there were no times available!! But the powers that be have promised there is more vaccine and times on the way and with a little luck we could all have had the first shot within the next few weeks.
