Just in time blip

After an industrious morning which continued after lunch (day 3 soup) I was without a blip as evening approached. I did capture the Auldhouse wagtail on a second shopping trip to Lidl because I had forgotten to get milk.  I used my phone and  the quality is very marginal. So this Gerbera will have to do. The severe frost did for the long-standing previous one.
Curiosity got the better of me and I got around to experimenting with beetroot as hair colour. The ‘recipes’ sounded unnecessarily complicated and I short circuited just using unadulterated pickled beetroot thinking the vinegar would give it extra traction. It looked great, regrettably it all washed out in the shower, a warning not to try this in damp weather.
