2021 Wednesday — Final Moments

This was the third day of construction on the new roof on the house across the street. So after a morning of noise about noon we packed the pups into the back seat of our vehicle and headed for Morro Bay. I had a book to return that was due at the library and another “on hold.” Then we stopped at the health food store to restock our supply of chia seeds (we use them in fruit smoothies).

Then the two pups wanted their turn, so we drove to Tidelands Park and walked along the bay. The sun was shining, but the wind was brisk and chilly; the pups really didn’t care. We walked to Estero Inn and after watching the boats and kayaks, we reversed our direction and headed back to the car.

We got back to the house late afternoon after the roofers were gone. For dinner we enjoyed homemade chicken pot pie. This photo happened when immediately after dinner we walked to the water’s edge. The sun dropped beneath the cloud and threw a beam of illumination our direction. We watched as God put His finishing touch on the limited edition that He numbered 04/07/2021.
