Day 380 Sunshine and snow

Today we've had both blue skies and sunshine and later even a few minutes of snow.  Whatever the sky was doing it was extremely cold.  In my only picture of the day I managed to capture neither the blue sky nor the later snow flurry but the magnolia blooms look nice anyway,  As usual I've photographed our neighbour's tree as it's fuller and always a little further on than our own.
In other news:  I went for my pre op assessment appointment this morning which took an hour and a half.  Things have certainly changed since I had surgery last, in 2011.  The questionnaire was endless and I had to give blood and urine samples, be tested for MRSA and have an ECG.  Apparently no news will be good news.  I then have to have a further blood test and a Covid-19 test 3 days before the procedure: here's hoping that's a success after all the palaver.
