They’re Back!

We spotted these Double-crested Cormorants at the Boat Landing today, the first ones we’ve seen since they departed for warmer climates last Fall. We’re thrilled! They were sunning themselves on the opposite side of the river, and I was happy to get a shot to commemorate the occasion. Now we wait to welcome our first osprey • Yesterday two turkeys with a purpose crossed our yard and before you could say Gobble-Gobble they disappeared into a neighbor’s yard. I hope they return soon for a photo op :) • Warmer weather is expected for the rest of the week. MrsP and I are looking forward to starting the annual cleanup of the yard. There are branches, sticks and leaves that need to be removed, plus flower beds that need tending to • Take Good Care of Yourselves!
