Marsh Horsetail

I spotted one of these plants in someone’s blip the other day and I know that there is patch that grows not far from here - so today I went to see if they had sprouted and lo and behold there is a forest of them! I liked this one with the top opening up, shining in the sunlight.

Not much else done today, apart from flattening a few cardboard boxes to go in the recycling bin for tomorrow - life doesn’t get much more exciting than that at the moment… although we did have a very noisy Facetime chat with our granddaughters last night. They were really hyper - which was going down a storm with mum and dad! We got shown the Easter Bunnies, some new Lego and a tour of the house and the pets…cat, two dogs and two guinea pigs. We had singing too!

Lots of snow flurries this afternoon, between bursts of sunshine, and it is freezing outside…
