Easter Monday

Although most of the country seemed to have snow it was sunny here. There was a cold wind but we hoped it wouldnt be too bad in the woods.
A lovely sunny drive down the Coast Road with beautiful views across Morecambe Bay. There was just one car where we normally park ( only space for 3 cars anyway) An icy blast from the north but the sun was warm. A lovely wander round the woods and only saw 2 other people in the distance. 
No leaves on the trees yet, but swathes of anemones and ransom leaves ( wild garlic) . I spotted 2 bluebells partially in flower. 
The safest way from our parking place is to carry on along the road and turn round where most cars park. As expected it was very busy there, no doubt because the ice cream van was open as well as the Chill and Grill for takeaways. 

Back home and I did some photo editing.. Fletch was raring to go for his teatime walk a bit earlier than usual but it meant we had a longer walk . 
I got back in good time , thinking we could eat earlier but was greeted by a huge puddle of water in the kitchen. The washing machine had leaked! Mopped up the clear water  and checked the filter ( ok) and  cleared the 100s of leaves from the drain outside (could be the cause)  Will investigate  further tomorrow . 
I did look at Currys for a possible replacement  if necessary. Apparently  quite a few washing machines can be operated by phone!  Why ?? Fingers crossed my current one is ok

Update on the Tesco chicken. Took 4 emails, each response from a different person but eventually they realised I was more concerned about reporting a Quality Control/ Health and safety issue than asking for a refund.
