Visiting Mum & Dad

Finally was able to visit Mum & Dad after so many months of being apart :-)

We stopped off first at Mum’s garden where we were able to swap Christmas presents & Easter eggs at the same time!!

Then we went to visit Dad in his care home - after a 30min wait for our Covid test results we were fully expecting to sit inside the cubicle with the Perspex screen and not be able to hear a word. Surprisingly the carer asked us if we’d like to see Dad in the garden :-D

It was such a wonderful visit - he was fully engaged the whole time looking at a photo book I’d taken, reading sentences & asking after my MIL!! It was soo lovely to be able to hear him :-)

Back to Mum’s for more catching up and a roast dinner finished off the most wonderful day :)
