The Return

The Hamnavoe ferry over the Penland Firth didn’t leave its berth (Stromness).  All services between Houton – Flotta – Lyness are suspended.  The Westray ferry didn’t depart.  All Eynhallow services to Rousay are suspended.  All crossings to Shapinsay are suspended.  

A Weather Forecaster just blew past the window.  It’s the kind of day to find out why you should never open two vehicle doors at the same time.

The Gyre to Bu road had quite an amount of drifting snow but it soon got a shift.  We went through to Stromness to get my Mum’s messages and to clean etc.

It’s not the day for a one piece bikini or a feather boa.
