Chicken Tikka Masala
Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Wine: Domaine du Viking Vouvray Tendre 2002.
We had delivery from our favorite Indian restaurant tonight. Since we were sharing, I had to forgo my usual face-melting vindaloo, but the tikka masala was good. The wine was the star of the night though. This is our first properly aged Vouvray, and it was quite an experience. Mushroom, honeysuckle, and petrol (odd as this one sounds, it is not unusual in aged sweeter wines) were the most dominant notes.
