"Should bald heads be buttered"?

I have NO idea where that comes from - BUT:-
1. I first heard it, while still in single figures of age.
2. When I did a search I found a "discussion" on the topic. - SO -  went to the home page of "Recover your life.com" where it said:-

So - effectively I'm no wiser. HOWEVER - there is no doubt in my mind that "Pace eggs" (Correctly spelt Pasche) should be buttered it doesn't half improve their appearance.
NOT that anything could improve this mottley four; (Two sides of each egg, none of 'em "owt special")  must get some unseasonal practice in sometime as this lot leaves a vast amount of room for improvement.
