ITALIAN DREAM

Once derelict and now restored, this Italianate Mansion stands on the corner of Victoria Lane and Runciman Drive and commands a magnificent view of False Bay. We have watched the stop-start transformation over the years. Loved it more when it was cream and white and a trifle ramshackled.
The day was grey with occasioanal bursts of sun and this shot probably sums up the sense of mystery and dare I say it, romance that I associate with this building.
