Cycle, Coffee, Cake...

I'm up for any bit of exercise that can combine some coffee and cake. Glad to say my jaunt today did just that. Cycled from Armadale to Broxburn along canal tow path before turning back and heading into Falkirk. Wasn't the most challenging of rides, flat as a pancake apart from a couple of diversions where work is going on but a respectable 30 miles nonetheless or so Strava and Garmin report. 

Place was really busy with walkers, joggers, bikers, paddle boarders, canoeists, kayakers, barges and even encountered a speed boat at one point. Everybody appeared to respect each other apart from one couple walking who refused to budge over after dinging the bell several times, he had a bit of a rant till I called got off the bike and asked him what he was doing as he clearly saw me coming, he soon piped down.....should have booted him in for a swim with the ducks.

A great day out and definitely one to revisit midweek when there are less people around maybe taking in a circular of Linlithgow Loch and castle.
