Arrival at the dock

I was taking a photo of the assorted boats in the extra when this person arrived at the dock and gave me a chance to get a person in a photo! I liked the combination of reds and blues.
I had a lovely walk down Xwaaqw'um today - and it was warm enough to take my gloves off! Not quite warm enough to take off my fleece jacket, but almost. Quite a few cars passed me when I was walking the road down to the trail and then back to the car after my walk, but I only saw one man and a couple on the trail. Perfect! So great to have areas to walk with enough trails that I usually have the place to myself and enough space to social distance if I do see anyone.  I did some weeding in the garden when I got home and enjoyed it. G managed to get some soil and compost mix, so we can add it to the garden beds soon. I was so excited this morning to see a few sprouts happening in my "indoor garden" - I yelled to G and had to message our daughter right away! The small things that excite me. I was also excited when G told me that the swallows are back. I didn't see any today but will soon, I'm sure. I love watching them fly.  :-))
