Went looking for some garden soil and found a couple of sources. On the way home, we stopped at Embe Bakery for some hot cross buns, freshly made. I took this shot of the crow from the car while G went into the bakery. I'm sure the crow was hoping that someone eating lunch or a treat at one of the outside seating spots would drop a few crumbs, on purpose or not.  :-)
Extra: Kalyn sent us this photo in an iMessage from her uni team Instagram page. I ranted a couple of blips ago about how hard student athletes work to train and play while keeping up their marks. Kalyn's hard work paid off - she was selected to the conference 2020-21 All-Academic Team with a GPA of 3.6.  Very proud of her! I so hope that the border will be open and restrictions lifted so that the team can play next season. We've really missed watching Kalyn after she had such an outstanding season in 2019/20.
