Sam Van-Damme....

The tournament was a good experience overall but Sammy didn't really reach his full potential this time....

....a year after he cracked his hip in a tournament in Birmingham he is still struggling to find his normal swagger on the mat :)

Still, it's a testament to his tenacity that he made it to the competition mat mixing it up with the fighters from 36 different countries.

On the Friday he went to Ireland, I thought I'd get him a cool well done present for when he got back, (win, lose or draw), so I found this framed print of Superman....

....he is Sam's favourite super hero, he's got the t-shirt, the belt buckle, the hat etc....

....now he's got the poster....

....with the beautiful original retro artwork....

as soon as he got it on his wall....he took this photo :)
