You had to be there...

I was out on a course this afternoon and drove through a village I had never been to before. It was picture perfect in the sunshine, with quaint thatched cottages and a beautiful village green surrounded with flowers. I noticed it even had a best kept village in Britain award (not sure what year that was)
I stopped by the pond but didn't have much time as I was already running late! This looked so much better in reality, the blue sky reflected in the water against the fresh green grass, trees and plants. Oh well, I was pleased to have a few moments peace to enjoy the sun and tranquility.
