The First In A Long Time

We were back on the first tee at 8.30 this morning for the first time since lockdown in January. As you can see, it was still a bit dewy and cloudy but soon turned into a gloriously sunny day.

The good news was that I managed to hit the ball really well; the bad news was I kept hitting it in all the wrong places. Still, for the first round back it could have been worse and I did manage to par a couple of holes.

This afternoon I enjoyed a chat with our friend Tony in his back garden while Tess and his wife Rosie were doing the same their friend and Keep Fat guru, Rosemary at her farm. There was plenty to discuss as we haven't seen them since Christmas  either.
