Medieval bridge, Amandi.

The so-called "Roman Bridge" (the current bridge, shown, is actually medieval) at Amandi, near to the historic church of San Xuan de Amandi, is no longer the only route across the river for Camino de Santiago pilgrims at Villaviciosa, but it´s still the crossing marked on their authorised routes. There are several albergues (pilgrimage hostels) in the vicinity of the bridge and others at Valdediós and  in Villaviciosa itself.
The bridge is not spectacular in any way, but it does cross the river. I´ve put some pilgrim waymarks in the extras. You´ll see directions westward to the Camino de Santiago, eastward to the Camino de Covadonga,  and two to albergues. And a different angle on the bridge.
