Feed a cold, starve a fever

And that was my motto for the day! The highlight of which was mums shepherds pie which she'd left for me when I got in.

Slept solid til 5am and then awake. Felt crap. Two cuppas later and I'm out walking pete. Out of the house at 7am, bound for derby station.

Picking up ticket and some twonk took 4 mins at the machine which meant I'd not got time for a coffee before boarding the 7.50.

Really foggy journey but the sun burnt through to give us a beautiful day. Good day in brum, enjoyed it. Didn't take lunch but left at 4 instead.

Early train back to derby, which was gridlocked :(

Home by 6.30, walking pete and shepherds pie in the oven!
