Dear Medway Council, could you please take a day-trip to Folkestone and learn how you could try harder with public art?
Art can actually be a stand-alone word, it does not require the suffix “illery” for it to make sense to normal people.
I realise that your focus is on the most famous attention-grabbing piece of local history and that you have no peripheral vision whatsoever, but most people are not so blinkered, most people realise that residents need attention too, not just visitors. So if you won't, I will attempt to mount some public art visitations, displays, events, protests, vandalisms. Call them what you will.
