A Glorious Day! (+Extras)

We've been out in the garden all day, just sitting in the sun. We had coffee out there, then lunch, Frank was giving Wallace and Gromit a lick of paint, we both read for a bit and I played ukulele. Also, I got the washing dry on the whirligig.
Bella May was lying next door on Bob's lawn for most of the day.

It was a very sociable day too as everyone was outdoors so we chatted to various neighbours over fences, one of which had her 2 week old great grandson visiting, so tiny!

The day didn't seem to rush by as it usually does.

I saw butterflies, bees and a ladybird. The birds weren't too happy though as we were sitting where they normally feed so apart from one starling none came down. They just sat on the overhead wires watching and waiting.

I almost forgot about the pandemic today - after the Covid nurse had been to take swabs and bloods for the research programme!
