Happy Birthday Ronnie

Today is my dearest grandchild's 20th birthday!! What a privilege and honour to be his gran!! Ronnie, thank you for loving me, in the first place, and then for being such a lovely, diligent person! I am so proud of you, your willingness to work hard, study hard and love us unconditionally! You are the most precious thing that happened to me in my life!

About the 'piggy bank'! Ronnie asked for a 'money tin' to save his change in for his next holiday, and when I saw this porcelaing beauty in a shop window yesterday, I just could not resist! His dad has a pink piggy bank, in fact had it since before we met hom 23 years ago! I truly hope Ronnie jr will be able to keep his for so long as well!! ;-)

Ronnie sr's piggy bank got stolen about 25 years ago when he had his house burgled while at work. He found the burglar himself, with all his elecctrical equipment still in his posession, and thank goodness, his porcelain piggy bank was still in tact!!
