Why do I do it to myself

Had a non-visit from the outgoing Tory councillor today. I was at home and watched him ring the bell of every house but mine. Shame, because I would have genuinely liked to ask him some questions (as I would all candidates). I got in touch via email. Dear reader, I will not bore you with the details, but I shan't be voting Tory (as if anyone was in any doubt). 

The morning was spent in the office. I got about 90% less work done than I would have done at home. I think I've got used to cracking on with work in a very quiet environment and so today I felt a bit blindsided that the return to the office wasn't as amazing as I'd anticipated.
