Oh, What a Beautiful Day!

It is sunny, a bit windy but the temps are perfect. We had planned to go to a really neat estate sale with my sister and brother-in-law but the guy who did our underground lawn sprinkler system decided to come turn it back on for the season. His crew also expanded the system to include my new raised garden. Now the kids won’t have to water it when we are away from home. While here, they agreed to install two French drains by our basement doors. Hopefully, this will stop heavy rains from coming in the basement. And one of them will come back and replace the weather-damaged basement door going in to hubby’s shop. These are jobs we have wanted to do ourselves for a year. The price was so reasonable we gladly turned the work over to professionals. Getting excited to have a vegetable garden again. I hate that I am unable to help shovel topsoil in the beds but our oldest grandson is spending the weekend. Help is on the way! Hubby went back to drain the camper plumbing so it is ready for fresh water. He also drew the outline for the barn quilt; it will be ready for paint when time permits. I finished my part of the projects that were here, put everything away and did laundry. Easy dinner tonight, tilapia fillets. It is okay to admit you can’t do it all. Other folks need to make a living also. How good it feels to reduce the stress. Thanks for the visits, stars snd comments. Happy weekend folks!
