Saughton Park Bandstand

Our afternoon walk took us down to Saughton Park today - managed to avoid the hail showers (yes, really!), and luckily caught an hour of bright sunshine ...

... and here's the 'restored' Bandstand, looking as splendid as ever against the blue sky - 1st extra is the plaque which tells you a bit more about its interesting history; 2nd extra is the magnificent Magnolia Tree (growing within the Physic Garden) which is just starting to flower :-)

Thought the whole of Saughton Park was looking quite splendid.
