Two swans a swimming...ok one swan a swimming

Its is number one daughters birthday today, 25! How did my baby get to be 25!! Cant believe were the time has gone. Mr D and I were saying what an adventure we have had and it's good to see both our babies grown and happy with the next generation just starting.

This morning started very early as Percy was awake so then we were! Had the lakes to myself apart from this beautiful pair. Mr Swan did his duty protecting his lady. Percy came close to a painful peck on his nose! I didn't need a vet visit 2 days in a row. The day before he decided to snack on a plastic bag. We were duly relieved of £82 and Percy of the plastic bag along with his breakfast and everything else had snacked on!

Have a feeling I will be on first name terms with the vet soon!
