Pussy willow!

When I was a child there was a big pussy willow tree over the road from were I lived. I loved it and couldn't wait for it to throw out its furry tails, it was a sure sign of spring. All around the lakes along with the blossom the willow has bloomed too, and as we had a good weekend it has loads pollen for all those early insects to collect. I was so upset when the land the tree was on was sold and a house built on it, I pass that house regularly and still feel sad. Funny what sticks in your mind!
