Same town, another church

We both slept well.......woke just before 7, but dozed off again, down for breakfast around 8.30.......bit of a laze, a bit of morning tv, binmen came around 9.30, then the skip opposite was collected, then we got up proper....downstairs by 10.15.

Another fairly nice day, plenty of sunhsine, although we did have some rain overnight.
Drove into town for coffee, good as usual, I took mine with me on my walk whilst hub sat and people watched a while.

A quick circuitous route, past both of the towns churches. Though Id give St Thomas's the spotlight today.....its currently undergoing refurbishments, repoening in June. It looked lovely in the sunlight, but I thought it looked more moody in mono. I collected hubs prescription on the way back to the car.....found him chatting to daughter as I clambered in. A quick drive around and back home for lunch.

Out again at 2 for hubs last radiotherapy session....roads were pretty quiet again. Arrived with 20 minutes to spare....45 minute delay according to the board on reception. It was just on an hour late when hub went in. Out and on our way hour within the half hour.
M56 ground to a halt on the way home, an incident according to the overheads :-/ After 10 minutes standing still we moved off and that was that....so maybe it was a breakdown!

Home by 5.45... still quite light, I went straight out to top up todays steps, see extra :-)
I know I have at least another 3 donations to come, but things have really slowed up now, so if you could donate, I really would appreciate it. It does not matter how much, or how little, it all helps :-) thank you

Dinner this evening was fillet steak, sauted potatoes and watercress salad, followed by a treat, an M&S scone :-))

Hub facetimed his sis after dinner whilst I was finishing off things in the kitchen. Despite saying his legs have felt weak today, hes been pretty good in himself. The radiographer told him this afternoon that he didnt want to see him again, as nice as he is :-) and that he should start to feel some benefits in 8-10 days time, fingers crossed!

Its nice to know we dont have anywhere to be tomorrow or over the weekend :-D Shame the weather forecast isnt so good :-/

We are currently watching Englands football, not a very impressive performance, given the opposition, despite the winning scoreline :-/

Hope youre all good and safe!
