A buzzard’s nest

We had a few hours away today and headed south to Tiroran for a physio appointment. The forecast was not good although held off until we arrived home. We drove along the scenic route via Salen, Knock and under Griban rock with a feeling of great pleasure to be out and about spotting curlews, we think a wheatear, pippets, oyster catchets, geese and a pair of shell duck.

And on the way home John spotted a buzzard flying from what looks like a nest set in the ivy. We stopped to look at this ramshackle affair and noticed a pair of buzzards on the tree nearby, their home?

We liked the wildly shaped tree seen in the last extra.
