A spotted tum

He looked too gorgeous and couldn’t resist a bf for today.
Shortly afterwards he was cuddled into my arms.

We look forward to and enjoy the morning coffee break, the machine takes 10 minutes to warm, then whoever is on barista duty makes all the right tapping and squishing sounds and produces a frothy coffee.

The machine was bought on Buy and Sell on Mull a few years ago, a chunky red thing that is hardly green in any sense (it’s a Kitchen Aid in bold red and sticks out like a sore thumb with the new kitchen colours), however it seems to fit the purpose right now. I have just explained to John my blip writeup, well his reply made me laugh, and before I tell you why I had no idea. John view is some people buy loo rolls others have 21 packs of coffee in hand, YES, that’s us. I should feel embarrassed but can’t stop grinning, 21! When did that happen? John buys it on line, packs of eight but thought he better get two packs and there you go....

I’m delighted and proud by the way people on Mull have joined forces to keep life moving in some form or other. Our own group are pulling together and without any planning realise we are contacting those older residents around us. I think some baking is called for soon to ease any boredom that may set in, cooking is a great leveller, just need to get this kitchen finished. The centre isle is next, perhaps tomorrow.

When buying the paint I went for colour and an easy place to buy it from in Oban, even a few weeks ago we were aware buying something like paint on line was difficult. Anyway we decided on the colours for the walls and kitchen units but didn’t specify the paint must be water based. The wall paint was great, easy to use quick to dry. Not so the grey paint for the units, it’s takes an age to dry, smells and we are not impressed with the finish which is more to do with us than the paint. Perhaps the doors will look better once back in place, today’s unenviable job for John.
